All substances in chemical products used for offshore processing are required to be listed in the HOCNF form, and the data to be submitted consists of three main parts:

1, the basic information of the substance, such as physical properties, components, use and emission (including the specific use of the substance, function, frequency of use, emission, emission frequency, etc.), as well as the final digestion path of the substance;

2, ecotoxicological information of substances, including biodegradability, bioaccumulation, complete toxicity data of aquatic animals (algae, crustaceans, fish), priority for ecological testing in Marine environment, if the existing REACH registration data contains freshwater ecotoxicity in line with OECD requirements can also be accepted, subject to official assessment; In addition, any of the following conditions are met: sediment aid, Koc > 1000, log Pow > (4) Adsorbed in any way to particles or eventually in sediments, containing surfactants, requiring additional sediment biotesting;

3. Confirmation statement of the applicant.

1. Complete the HOCNF registry;

2. Submit the completed HOCNF form together with the latest Safety Data Sheet (SDS) compliant with the EU CLP regulations to the OCNS team at Cefas; Note: SDS in both Dutch and English is required for Dutch registration;

4. Application for product recertification may be submitted six months before the product expiration date. Note: All recertification starts with the expiration date of the current template, not the submission date of the updated file.
